Styrofoam cups stuck in a fence

On Chicago’s North Side
Spelling out “WONDER”
And I do
About you
1,500 miles away
Who you are
Why we connect on radio waves
Invisible and sent yet
Wonder in a cup
Like stars so stuck in a
universal fence.
